Helping Others: 1 Week SANGALAB Circle 10 Feeding and Relief Operation

The typhoon Ulysses unleashed powerful winds and heavy rains that destroyed low-lying areas of the Municipality of San Mateo. The most affected places are those sectors located on the lower side of Barangay Maly and Barangay Guinayang of San Mateo Rizal.

To support and assist the victims of the typhoon Ulysses, the San Mateo Rover Scouts Mission, known as SANGALAB Circle 10, quickly responded by having an Operation Feeding Relief Program in some evacuation areas. From November 11 to 17, the SANGALAB Circle 10 conducted a feeding and relief operation program in Maly Elementary School and Guinayang National High School, as one of the evacuation areas of multiple families from the said affected Barangays. SANGALAB Circle 10 immediately gathered and prepared the meals such as Goto, Sopas, and Hotsilog (fried rice, hotdog, and egg). This program was able to serve 350 people in Barangay Maly and Barangay Guinayang and gave 150 relief goods to the community. Through this program, the San Mateo Municipal Rover Scouts Mission Circle 10 – SANGALAB wanted to show that they are not alone in this kind of catastrophe.

SANGALAB will always be grateful to serve and do our duty to God and our country.
