BSP National President Roberto M. Pagdanganan, known for his advocacy on road safety awareness, was conferred Eminent Fellow of the Council of Fellows of the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC) in a ceremony held at its head office on 08 October 2020.
On 31 July to 02 August 2020, the BSP conducted a Basic Training Course for Leaders of Adults (BTC-LOA) for 78 members of the Philippine National Police. The course aims to instill patriotism with highest sense of volunteerism to public safety officers. The training was conducted in accordance with the established health and safety protocols by the Inter-Agency Task Force for Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID). It was facilitated by BSP Chief National Commissioner Cedrick G. Train, Secretary General Rogelio S. Villa Jr., and Program and Adult Resources Executive Yasser F. Sarona. The BSP and PPSC are expected to conduct more and similar trainings for police officers.
