My children will have their investiture tomorrow, one is in preschool and the other is in primary level. how many times will the investiture given to a student? is it once every level or yearly? I guess the school that my children are into are just using scouting investiture for money-making purposes…How can i check if my children are registered to BSP or GSP? they did not recieve any ID from both organization but the school charged us P350 for scouting fee every school year.one more thing, there is no representative from BSP or GSP during investitures.Is it alright?..I hope u can help me so that any necessary actions will be given to their school…thanks and God bless…

I would like to ask if how many are the new MB’s that is not yet printed on our handbook. How can we know about its nature, especially to those who are far away from our local council? It should be good enough if the national office can provide an updated Guidebook or pamphlet to promote information dissemination of the new award policies of the BSP.
And is it true that our First Class Scouts (Boy) will receive somewhat like a Tamaraw medal, which is in line with the Eagle Award (for Senior) after submission of necessary documents?
We are now in the process of revising the merit badge system in our program. As our contribution to the conservation to the environment we added only 2 required merit badges, the Go Green and the Grow Green Merit Badges. We send already the necessary information and references to all local council 3 years ago, regarding on the above mentioned merit badges.
We are also designing a program of requirements for a Higher award for KAB Scout and Boy Scout Sections. But at present, we are still in the process of designing it, meaning there is no final requirements, references and award design yet.
Once we have all the necessary materials to implement the said award, definitely we will circulate the information to all BSP Local council.

Baden Powell patch is only a souvenier patch. Hindi sya required patch na dapat ay nakakabit sa ating Scout Uniform. Hindi rin sya merit badge patch and rank badge, so hindi rin sya dapat nakalagay sa sash. Usually mga collector’s badge yan. Better if you could keep it as your collector badge.

Outfit numeral is for Senior Scout (high School) and Troop Numeral is for Boy Scouts (Elementary Level)

Depende yan kung ano yung ginagamit mong address or kung saan ka nakatira. Usually yan ang basehan para kung saan local council ka mag reregister.
Sayang naman you are still young for rover Scouting. Pwede ka pang mag eagle. We suggest na mag concentrate ka muna sa Senior Scouting Program.

Sorry Po! for the meantime our Scout Shop discouraged us to post and revealed the souvenir items here in the website. Para po maiwasan na gayahin ng mga nagbebenta yung ating mga souvenirs. But our Council Scout Executives are well informed regarding the said souvenir.

Please contact your Local Council regarding the extension and quota of the participants to the 15th National Scout Jamboree. Even though that we extended the submission of the participants but they already met the required quota definitely they will not accept any additional participants.
Better go or contact you local council office as soon as possible.
