Scouts join SW Award Discovery Workshop for Visayas

Two hundred three scouts participated in the kick-off of the Scout of the World (SW) Award Discovery for Visayas at Boracay Island, April 10.

The Scouts of the World (SW) Award Discovery Workshop aimed to encourage stronger involvement to scouts in the development of society and to recognize long-term development projects through voluntary services in the field of development, peace and environment.

Shallah Amacio, Supervisor of Centralized Materials, Recovery and Facility (MRF), was thankful to the scouts for choosing Boracay Island as the area for exploration and discovery

The SW Award discovery will also include service sessions, workshops in line with the SW Award program.

A socials night on April 11 at Manocmanoc Elementary School, Boracay Island will cap the four-day SW Award Discovery Workshop.
