Adopted by the National Executive Board on 20 August 2011 for integration in the Advancement Scheme of the BSP, the World Scout Environment Programme (WSEP) is a program of the World Organization of the Scout Movement that offers tools, resources and initiatives to help Scouts all around the world work together for the good of the local and global environment. The program focuses on the environment in a broad sense and encourages the Scouts to have a holistic awareness of the natural world and how their day-to-day actions can impact upon this, progressively building a sense of responsibility for the environment.
The Local WSEP Coordinators have completed BSP’s pilot course on Environment Education, the 1st World Scout Environment Education Course (WSEEC) on 1-5 June 2016 at Mt. Makiling, Los Baños, Laguna.
Mr. Kenny Ralph S. Fernando of the BSP National Office is the NSO Coordinator / Country Coordinator of the World Scout Environment Program for the Boy Scouts of the Philippines.
